Very sad to hear about our loss of Claude. He was truly one of "the good guys"!! He was a dear friend, a teammate and college roommate. He will be missed. My sympathies to Trudy and his family. Jim Owens

From Lloyd Tarter:

Well stated Jim, Claude was indeed a true friend, classmate and teammate. He is an another example of what a great class we had at NCHS. Our thoughts and prayers are with Trudy and his family.
These are the times when I most regret missing those great reunions you all put together. Definitely have the next one on the calendar.

It seems like we never take the time and effort to nourish old friendships when there is a great distance. I hope you knew that I cherished our friendship even though you did drop “that pass”. RIP dear friend!!!   Tom Garner

It is still hard to believe Claude is gone. We all have these memories of our times with Claude, thank goodness. Even though our paths went different directions I always knew he was there and could be reached.  Our world will seem different now but I'm glad we had those visits Trudy. Condolences to the kids.

Sometimes it takes a little longer to get the message, but as a long time friend, Claude will be missed. We lost contact over the years but followed him through mutual friends, thanks Steve. It is hard to read of his passing after nearly 60 years of friendship and wishing we had been closer. We should all try to stay closer. The class of 1963 was special.

It is so sad to read of claude's passing and then of
Jim's right after. I haven't stay in touch with most of
The class but will miss their presence amongst us. Class
Of 1963 was a special group with a special energy.
R.I.P.
John
