I remember when Lonnie and Butch Runnion joined the service. Saw Lonnie once in a while when he would be home on leave. After the service Lonnie went to work I believe at the Texaco Refinery in Casper. He went back to school and got his college degree. Lonnie married Carolyn Weber and they had two children, a son Mark and a daughter. My husband and I were living in Anacortes, Washington 1972 through1974 where my husband worked as a civil engineer at the Texaco Refinery. One day the door bell rang and it was Carolyn. Lonnie had taken a position at the Texaco Refinery in Anacortes. You can imagine my surprise when I opened the door. Lonnie and Carolyn left Anacortes and I believe moved back to Casper before going to Pine Dale. The last time I saw Lonnie was in 1988. We were in Riverton at the high school state swimming championship. Our two sons were swimming in the events and Lonnie's son was also swimming. I was sad to hear of Lonnie's passing and will remember the good memories.
