Carolee Horstman ((Carlson))

Carroll Lou and I were friends originally through our parents.  Her Dad was my father's accountant andgood buddy.  We spent time at one another's homes and a special time was when we went to Fuller's cabin on Casper Mountain.  For years it was just the two of us children; then her little brother came along and finally I had two little sisters.

The Fullers were just the greatest folks.  Our dads were once in a restaurant in Vegas around 1957 and Elvis was in the same place eating.  They asked him for autographs for "Carroll Lou and Carolee:.  I bet he wondered at the names(?); however he signed his autograph to each of us.  My younger sister was a nut for Elvis so I gave her mine and it is since lost.  Carroll Lou told me she didn't know where hers was either over the years.

Carroll Lou and I lost touch until I moved back to WY in 1998.  I felt coming back to my 'roots' was a real gift and decided I would get in touch with so many from my childhood. She and Perry and I kept in touch and they were such kind friends to me.

We will miss her, all of us classmates at this reunion.  Hopefully Perry can come and remember all the good times! They were such an integral part of our class and the planning of so many reunions.  We all care Perry, and fondly remember dear Carroll Lou.  She has no more pain and is in God's hands now.
