Jack was my best friend! We did everything together, double dated, enjoyed the same sports, he was better. We even drove the same type of car, both Chevy's. After graduation, Jack went into the service, and was with the 101st airborne and served our country well during Vietnam. When he returned to the states, Jack and I worked the oil patch, roughnecking for awhile. Jack went on to college and got his degree in psychology, married and moved to Laramie where he purchased a bar. I lost contact with Jack for several years and was surprised to here about his death. If I had only known about his fight with cancer I would have tried harder to reconnect. Jack is missed and his memories will last until we meet again on the other side.
