Patricia Anne Hancock (Kalus)

My twin sister Jo passed away February 28, 2012.  She had been diagnosed with colorectal cancer in December, 2011 and had surgery, was on chemo at the time of her death.  She passed away suddenly as she was doing very well with her chemo treatments.   She left behind three children Denise, Trisha and Jason and seven grandchildren.

Jo and Frank married in 1964 and after Frank graduated from Law School they returned to Casper.

Jo went back to school after the children were raised and got a degree in Nursing.

In 1999 Jo and Frank were divorced and Jo moved to Tucson, Arizona.  She decided to move back to Casper in 2002 and worked at the Natrona County Memorial Hospital and at the time of her death was working at the Poplar Care Center.

I still find myself about to pick up the phone to call her as I always have sometihing to share with her and she always did the same with me.  She is missed so much!

Being twins we shared so much growing up, fun and not so fun!  Susie and Sally Drollinger grew up with us as did Jerry Thomason, Steve Shelsta lived right up the street, Donna Stevenson across the street, Jerry Gordon was always a good friend, too, John Orr and so many more that went to Grant elementary school.  Junior High was fun and High School was challenging the first few months as we settled in.

Jo's life was cut short along with so many who graduated with us.  Their bucket lists were not completed and they are missed.
